Colorado Nonprofit Association's April 3 Recovery Act Forum

- Organizations must be already receiving funding from NEA/CCA to qualify for new funding. New nonprofits can designate Fiscal Agents.
- Organizations are encouraged to have documented conversations with their Boards what they intend to do if revenues do not meet expenses.
- Organizations are urged to plan for trimming costs not related to salary.
- Cannot use NEA funding to hire Fund Raisers.
- Visit www.coloarts.org for CCA funding opportunity; matching funding can be (half cash) and (half in-kind). Also visit www.artsincrisis.org.
- National funding does not require matching of funds.
- Arts programs are urged to connect their programs to sustainable job development.
