Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP)
- $1.489 billion ($500,000 grant minimum) available for eligible grantees. (Click here for a list of all eligible grantees).
- NONPROFITS do qualify to be subgrantees of eligible grantees. ( HUD Homeless Resource Exchange HPRP Resources)
- Contact your county Commissioner! If the county does not know about your nonprofit organization, they may not take the funding! ( All Colorado County government websites)
- Funding available for rental assistance, utility payments and housing relation and stabilization. "Intent is to serve persons who: are homeless or would be homeless but for this assistance and can remain stably housed after this temporary assistance ends." ( HUD HPRP Webcast Presentation)
Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP)
- $53 million granted to Colorado to avoid major losses in housing values and address crime, vandalism and code violations caused by vacant or abandoned properties.
- "The NSP allows the State to fund Non-profits, Housing Authorities, Housing Finance Authorities, Indian Tribes and local government Entitlement areas." ( Neighborhood Stabilization Program Resources from Division of Housing)

Community Development Block Grants
- $1 billion for community and economic development projects including housing available to state and units of general government ( HUD Community Development Block Grants)
