The Development Coordinator serves the school by focusing on the financial health of the school. The Development Coordinator supports all of the development efforts as directed by the Development Committee and the Development Director. This position assists in the planning and facilitating; annual giving, planned giving, capital campaign, grants, and corporate sponsorship and other items as assigned. The Development Coordinator reports to the Development Director and works in conjunction with the Development Committee to ensure an abundance of economic and material resources at The Denver Waldorf School. As Development Coordinator, I am part of the Administrative Team, which in-turn works directly to fulfill the needs and wishes of the Board of Trustees (Board), and the College of Teachers (College). My direct duties and responsibilities include the following: Committee Work: Development Committee Marketing Committee Capital Campaign Committee Events: Walk-A-Thon Holiday Fair Development Specific Items Requirements:

Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their qualifications as related to the duties and responsibilities of the position. Final candidates will be invited to travel to the school, at their own expense, to interview. A criminal background check is required as part of the selection process and will be considered before an offer of employment is finalized.
The Coordinator base salary is $33,400 plus full tuition remission for one child. The actual starting salary is based on experience and education. The Denver Waldorf School also offers medical, dental and flexible spending benefits. A 401K retirement plan is also available after 1 year of service. |
