Seasonal Operations Worker

Compensation: $10.00 per hour

Job Summary: Under general direction maintains physical facilities at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. Assures that the environment is safe, clean and ensures a positive presentation for visitors, staff and public. Performs routine repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities including farm work and lawn and garden chores.

Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to read and understand instructions, simple diagrams and schematics. Must be able to read and understand toxin labels. Must possess valid Colorado Drivers License. Must have knowledge of machinery (mowers, trimmers, rototillers, hand tools and small engines). Three months experience in similar garden/facilities maintenance environment.
