Emergency Family Assistance (EFAA)
|Title:||Office Assistant Intern (Boulder)|
|Location:||Denver Metro Area|
EFAA interns can do a variety of activities over the course of their internship. For example, staffing our front desk by answering phones and scheduling appointments, interviewing clients to determine eligibility for the program, stocking the food pantry and assisting clients with their groceries, administrative tasks as needed. Interns typically do a combination of all these tasks depending on the day they come to volunteer and what goals they need to achieve specific to their internship.
Interns are supervised by the community resources manager and evaluated at the end of their term and on an as needed basis.
This is an unpaid internship that would need to be completed during open office hours – MTThF 9:30-4:30 W 12-4:30.
Intern needs to show compassion and be open to learning about poverty and homelessness and their effect on our community. Intern also needs to be responsible and dependable.
Emergency Family Assistance Association is an equal opportunity employer.
