In this daylong intensive, Mission Minded founding partners Zach Hochstadt and Jennie Winton will lead you through a highly focused, hands-on workshop to help you determine your organization’s brand and speak more effectively about the importance of your work.By the end of this session, you’ll be in a better position to raise more money and engage potential supporters of your organization or initiative.
Why is brand is so important? Brand is what differentiates your organization from the dozens, hundreds or thousands of others the public can choose to support instead of supporting yours. There are many organizations working on the same issues, asking the same people for money and other support. Your programs might be better-run or more efficient, but program details are NOT what motivate donors and volunteers. A strong brand promise does. Do you have one? Brand is just another word for reputation. Your organization already has one. But is it the right one? It’s time to understand branding for your organization, why it’s important and how to do it.
You don’t need a huge marketing budget.
You don’t need a national name brand.
With the right tools, it’s easier than you think. Over lunch, we’ll help you prepare to steal the spotlight. Learn from leaders in our community who’ve used branding and messaging to achieve incredible results. Our lunch program will feature a nonprofit panel moderated by Christie McElhinney, Colorado Trust. Take this time to network and learn from one another too.
Are you missing the opportunity to present your organization in a way that will encourage interest and enthusiasm? Are you leaving your audience with a clear impression about why someone should care about the work your organization does? Can they even understand what you do and why it’s important based on your description? With the Minute Message Model, we teach leaders to reorganize and prioritize their messages so that whether they have one minute, five minutes, or ten to share their message, they can be confident that they’ve spent their time well.
If you feel your nonprofit’s work is being held back by muddled messaging, you’re not alone. What’s needed is a way to organize your thoughts and make sure you’re focused on what your audiences need to hear.

Mission Minded, has helped hundreds of organizations find the right words, and can do the same for you. Mission Minded’s trainings combined with decades of experience in nonprofit marketing help you create messages that truly move. It’s not magic—you just need a framework that puts the important stuff first, and fills in the details after. Learn more at mission-minded.com.
