The Brave Coalition is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that seeks to identify and address individual and cultural bias by increasing awareness, shifting mindsets and inspiring action. The Brave Coalition believes that facilitating Brave Conversations is a key way to address bias. We are looking for an organized and enthusiastic intern who is able to work independently to accomplish the following tasks.
Research currently available resources to facilitate Brave Conversations- online, book,
social media, audio-visual etc.
Research current local and national organizations and individuals providing training to
address bias with focus on Brave Conversations
Develop toolkit for facilitating Brave Conversations
Disseminate toolkit through social media platforms and adapt for Brave events and
Provide presentations and reports on resources and toolkit to Brave Board Members
Complete program reports as needed
A highly organized individual with a enthusiasm for working in the non- profit sector
Passion for Brave’s mission
Knowledge and experience in bias and race a plus
Experience or training in behavioral science a bonus
Able to work independently and take on multiple projects
Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail
Capacity to work under minimal supervision
Hours: 3-4 hours/week. Prefer a 3-6 month commitment
Compensation: This position is an unpaid internship. Those who need school cred hours are highly encouraged to apply.
