The Brave Coalition is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that seeks to identify and address individual and cultural bias by increasing awareness, shifting mindsets and inspiring action. The Brave Coalition is looking for an organized and enthusiastic intern who is able to work independently to accomplish the following tasks.
Publish content on the Brave Coalition webpage, maintaining continuity of themes, designing layout, streamlining navigation and increasing online presence to potential donors and interested community members.
Create a database of detailed contact information for partners, venues, volunteers, and members
Create flyers and print media materials
Manage and update donation options through social media including webpage and Facebook
Maintain social media platforms by scheduling social media posts, posting relevant content in conjunction with ChoosePico
Assist in the distribution or delivery of electronic marketing materials on webpage and social media
Manage any upcoming events on social media
Research potential leads for grant funding opportunities that fit with the Brave Coalition mission.
Assemble and submitting grant requests, including letters, proposals, budgets and presentations
Complete grant funding reports
A highly organized individual with a passion for working in the non- profit sector
Knowledge and experience in social media and digital marketing
Knowledge of website management and how to publish content onto website
Able to work independently and take on multiple projects
Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail
Capacity to work under minimal supervision
Hours: 3-4 hours per week. Prefer a 3-6 month commitment.
Compensation: This position is an unpaid internship. Those who need school credit hours are highly encouraged to apply.
