Job Description: 

This Adoption Caseworker position will be working with prospective adoptive parents through the home study and adoption process, both internationally and domestically.  

Areas of Responsibility
  • Completing SAFE Home Study Evaluations that meet state, USCIS and foreign country requirements.
  • Assessing prospective adoptive families in order to facilitate matching with children.
  • Working with out of state child placement agencies.
  • Coordinating with state licensing and approving entities.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree from an accredited program of social work.
  • Completion of SAFE home study training, or willingness to complete immediately.
  • Two years experience in child placement, adoption, foster care or similar children's services.
  • Satisfactory results from CBI or FBI fingerprint check, and no record of child abuse or neglect.
Compensation/Benefits

This position may be full-time or part-time.  Full time employees are eligible for IAN benefits and compensation.  Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
