Areas of Responsibility

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

A Programming and Case Management Manager at Catholic Charities:

  • Provides leadership to program staff in administering the Agency’s goals and policies, and acts in a manner consistent with Catholic Charities’ mission and values and the teachings of the Catholic Church. 
  • Applies appropriate techniques and standards in program development and service delivery case management  to achieve goals
  • Works collaboratively with all levels of management in developing strategic plans, priorities and directing the implementation of services for assigned service areas.
  • Uses program statistics to monitor and evaluate services and outcomes. Recommends, develops and implements improvements as appropriate.
  • Develops and administers area budget within established guidelines.
  • Ensures that programs and services comply with licensing, accreditation, state and federal standards and other appropriate regulatory or professional requirements.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with community-based organizations, parishes and corporations to extend the reach of services and community support.
  • Oversees and develops internship program
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Agency’s values and policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Provides back-up to staff in the direct services to clients.
  • Promotes and markets the services to the community.
  • Assists with grants in collaboration with the Regional Director and Grants department

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises case management program staff

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • MSW highly preferred, or equivalent from an accredited university in social work, human services, psychology or related field; and two to four years related program management and supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervision, program management and budget management for human services programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop a professional and passionate team
  • Strong grant writing, reporting, and compliance skills

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary: Starting at $45,000.00 salary/yr with increases commensurate with experience & education. 

 

Schedule: Dependent on position, The Mission Shelter is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. 

 

Training: We provide a robust training curriculum that will support our employees throughout their career.  Training provided within the first year of employment includes: De-escalation & Safety; Public Speaking; Mental Health First Aid; Substance Abuse & Mental Health; Human Trafficking; Trauma Informed Care; and many more.
