Job Description: 

Responsible for interacting with members to provide and process information in response to membership inquiries, program questions and material requests.

Support membership in the promotion of membership growth and service for both direct and partnering state membership.

Manage and maintain accurate membership database.

Support membership programs.

Work with finance department on membership dues and activity billing and collection.

Support annual conference registration processing and inquiries.

Areas of Responsibility

• Screen and direct phone calls as needed
• Monitor general incoming emails from website and resolve or distribute as required
• Interact with customers, providing information on inquiries about products, accounts, and services
• Field and disseminate questions to appropriate parties and/or resolve member complaints or concerns
• Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, supply orders

Membership Growth and Service
• Provide first level of support for membership questions and concerns
• Process membership application intake and confirmations
• Annually bill for all direct membership dues
• Organize all membership mailings
• Responsible for updating and maintaining membership related database and related content areas including WebLink Connect &
• Assemble and distribute “state boxes” to state association meetings
• Coordinator and manage member programs

Annual Conference and Expo
• Support all aspects of attendee registration including event setup and maintenance within WebLink, reporting on metrics, registration processing, event participation and management, partner data management, answer questions and resolve related concerns
• Responsible for all aspects of membership awards including awards website, judge selection and management, award ordering and delivery to conference, and distribution at conference
• Responsible for coordinating all shipping to conference

Work with Finance Department on membership dues and activity billing and collection
• Ensure accurate and timely dues billing for membership dues
• Work with state partners to ensure accurate billing and account reconciliation
• Process and apply checks in database

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Membership database experience
  • 1-3 years direct customer service experience
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Problem solver, critical thinker, solutions driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills

• $36,000-40,000
