We are seeking a Power Platform Developer who will be responsible for the development, implementation, performance, integrity, and security of applications. This position will be involved in the planning and development of applications/solutions, as well as troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users. Our Power Platform Developer will ensure the user experience remains consistent across applications and in a form that suits the needs of end users. This position will also be responsible for data security and recovery, ensuring all data is retrievable in an emergency.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Power Platform, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Intermediate knowledge of Transact-SQL and MS SQL Server Management Studio

One of our offices is in the Denver Metro, CO area - just south of the Denver Tech Center in Englewood, CO. We have another location in Aurora, CO. We are committed to a great work-life balance here, so our offices are closed on Fridays! You will get to work Monday – Thursday, working a 10-hr day for a 40-hr workweek.

Technical

  • Responsible for developing PowerApps canvas and model driven apps
  • Re-write and re-engineer custom legacy applications to PowerApps solutions
  • Build Enterprise-level mobile solutions, utilizing best practices within Power Platform Community
  • Integrate Microsoft Flow/Power Automate into SharePoint
  • Develop workflows that enhance the use of SharePoint
  • Analyze and troubleshoot query performance and take corrective actions to solve issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end 
  • Develop database objects, data dictionary and ensure the quality and integrity of the databases
  • Create, test, and debug complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application development
  • Identify, develop, and deploy reports in Power BI
  • Develop security procedures to protect data from unauthorized usage, create best practices for application access and permissions
  • Gather and document user requirements and identify new features; translate business/user requirements into application design. Documentation will require a great level of detail so that other staff members may follow along, even with little technical background

Financial

  • Purchase necessary equipment within the positions established authority and budget; seek approval from supervisor as required
  • Make recommendations related to equipment needs; identify system approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale
  • Assist with the annual budget process as requested; proactively make suggestions related to current and future equipment need
Requirements/Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience in Power Platform development preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Power Platform, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Intermediate knowledge of Transact-SQL and MS SQL Server Management Studio
  • Ability to produce complex reports using Power BI
  • Integrate Power BI Reports and dashboards into PowerApps
  • Integration of PowerApps and Power Automate
  • 2+ years’ experience as a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator and/or Farm Administrator preferred
  • Meet and maintain our driving requirements - no suspensions/revocations in the past 3 years and no more than 2 tickets/moving violations in the past 3 years
Compensation/Benefits

$80,000 - $95,000 / annually
