Job Description: 

Front desk reception, customer service, telephone, data entry, staff support. Works directly with the Denver Leadership Team, Board of Directors, Denver and Regional office staff, volunteers and visitors to the Association.

Areas of Responsibility

50% Provides customer service as receptionist and operates front desk phone.
15% Daily posting of outgoing and distribution of incoming mail. Preparation of Bank
Deposit Excel spreadsheet. Other general office projects as assigned.
35% Administrative support to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s development team to
include creation of Excel spreadsheet reports from data exported from a database.
Regular maintenance and production of team and individual reports within a
database. Registration of individuals and teams. Management of individual/team
donations and fundraising activities. Perform online research for potential
corporate partners. Assist with email correspondence with registered
constituents. Assist in preparation for volunteer meetings, wrap around events,
etc. Other event support and assistance as requested.

  • Minimum of a High school diploma.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Prior front desk/general office experience or equivalent business school training.
  • Excellent customer service and computer skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic experience with a database system.
  • Professional, punctual, dependable, organized, detail oriented, flexible, self-starter with strong people skills and pleasant telephone manner.
  • Ability to handle sensitive calls to our Helpline, coordinate an important front desk position, and a willingness to learn.
