Our client, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA), one of the country’s largest nonprofit theatre organizations, is seeking a skilled, energetic and mission-focused executive who will cultivate and build relationships within the philanthropic community as its Vice President, Development

Reporting to the CEO, the VP, Development will lead a team of 7 and have primary responsibility for establishing and implementing the infrastructure needed to grow a $6M annual philanthropic budget and wrap-up a successful capital campaign.

  • Support and partner with the CEO, the Executive Team and the Board of Trustees on all major fundraising initiatives.
  • Develop and implement an annual Development Plan in partnership with the Development Team and partners from across the organization. This plan is presented to the Development Committee of the Board for approval.
  • Establish and nurture a culture of philanthropy within the organization, as well as throughout the community and the American Theatre, to elevate the organization’s profile and generate a broader portfolio of contributed income.

The DCPA has established a compensation range of $150,000 to $180,000 for this role and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
