Evaluation can be tricky for many nonprofit organizations. There are so many decisions to make and all the while you wonder whether you might be wasting valuable time and resources. In this interactive session, attendees will learn about common evaluation challenges and how to address them.

This session will provide attendees with ample opportunities for discussion and brainstorming, so bring whatever evaluation challenges your organization is currently facing. Attendees will also learn how to avoid common evaluation challenges and walk away with improved evaluation practices. Come with your questions!

Dr. Annette Shtivelband, Research Evaluation Consulting (REC)



Dr. Annette Shtivelband is founder and principal consultant of Research Evaluation Consulting (REC). She received her PhD in Applied Social Psychology with a specialization in Occupational Health Psychology from Colorado State University. Annette has a decade of experience working with nonprofits, startups, universities, school districts, and government organizations. Dr. Shtivelband has worked with more than 40 different organizations, as a researcher, evaluator, and consultant. Annette is passionate about helping her clients succeed. She works with her clients to systematically, strategically, and thoroughly measure their impact.



Annette has expertise in a variety of areas including program evaluation, scale development and validation, training, employee engagement and retention, and organizational change. Using both quantitative (e.g., surveys, statistical analysis) and qualitative (e.g., focus groups, interviews) research methods, Annette knows how to produce results you can trust.





Qualifies for Excellence in Nonprofit Principles and Practices. Completion of a post-training evaluation is required for this training to count toward recognition.
