You understand your organization’s mission and know what objectives you’re aiming to achieve. Now it’s time to create a communication plan to support your goals. In this session led by Rachel Childs, Communications Coordinator at Colorado Nonprofit Association, learn what elements make up a strategic communication plan and how you can get started right away with creating one for your organization.

Beginner = 0 -  2 years of experience in the field
Intermediate = 3 - 5 years of experience in the field

Event Description

Rachel Childs (she/her/hers) is Communications Coordinator at Colorado Nonprofit Association. Rachel has spent the last 10 years in the industry as a journalist, Peace Corps business volunteer, public relations coordinator and content creator. She is a dedicated communications professional who uses results and audience data to create relevant messaging to change the way nonprofits show up for their communities. 

Her education includes a Masters of Arts degree in International and Intercultural Communications from University of Denver and undergraduate degrees in journalism and natural resource tourism from Colorado State University. 




Qualifies for Excellence in Nonprofit Principles and Practices. Completion of a post-training evaluation is required for this training to count toward recognition.
