The Colorado Nonprofit Pro Bono Legal Group (Pro Bono Legal Group) is an initiative of the Colorado Nonprofit Association and the Colorado Lawyers Committee to match nonprofit organizations in need of legal assistance with volunteer lawyers who can help.
Organizations must meet the below criteria:
- Organizations must attain 501(c)(3) status prior to requesting pro bono legal services.
- Organizations must be located in Colorado.
- Organizations must have a budget of $500K or less. This program is designed for smaller organizations.
By submitting this request, you are allowing this information to be distributed to the Colorado Lawyers Committee for the purpose of securing pro bono legal assistance for your nonprofit organization. Although we will make every effort do to so, the Pro Bono Legal Group cannot guarantee legal assistance for your organization. If a lawyer volunteers to work with your organization, the average placement rate can take about 1-2 months minimum. We encourage you to maintain your own efforts to secure needed assistance. Please notify us if alternate assistane is attained or if it is no longer needed.
