John Arigoni has been a leader in Boys & Girls Clubs since 1993, when he became the President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. In 2006, John left the Denver organization to serve as Senior Vice President of Strategy Management for Boys & Girls Clubs of America where he spearheaded and completed the creation of the national strategic plan. John returned to his position with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver in July 2008. John received his BA in Sociology from Princeton University and an MBA from Regis University. His exceptional work with Boys & Girls Clubs has been recognized at the local, regional, and national levels. He was awarded the Executive of the Year for the National Boys & Girls Clubs Professional Association in 2001, and in 2002 received one of Boys & Girls Clubs’ highest honors, the James E. Wetherington Southwesterner Award. In 2003 John received the Distinguished Level Executive Professionals designation from The Academy of Boys & Girls Club Professionals. John has served on numerous regional and national committees in support of Boys & Girls Clubs, as well as a variety of boards of directors. The Colorado Nonprofit Association elected John to the Board of Directors in 2011. John was also elected to the Nonprofit Resources Board of Directors in 2011.
