Position Summary:

This position requires a visionary leader with a passion to make a difference and a strong commitment to the mission of the organization.

Must have a proven track record that demonstrates ability to excel in a small organization.

Must have the desire and the capacity to grow quickly to a leadership position with the organization.

Must be able to translate strategies into operating plans with measurable objectives and ensure that the programs are successfully meeting their objectives.

Must have a strong commitment to help the organization grow and develop new levels of effectiveness and impact.

Must develop and implement fund-raising strategies to ensure sufficient funding to maintain program success, as determined by the organization strategic plan.

Must develop, manage, and implement procedures for program evaluation.

Must have the ability to engage and manage volunteers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of program operations.
  • Review and update program methodologies.
  • Design program evaluations and work with Project Coordinators and Sister Schools to implement them.
  • Seek additional funding through grant proposals and other sources.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed and develop relationships — both local and international, while working with Project Coordinators, communities and partner organizations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, Master’s degree preferred; plus a minimum of three years work experience with a small International NGO
