Responsible for the development and implementation of the Science curriculum to meet the needs of the children assigned to the Science program, four rotations per day based on ability level. Provides educational and treatment programming and works closely with two classroom assistants to provide classroom management and a positive learning environment. Authors IEP’s and actively participates in Educational meetings. Works the school year plus six weeks during the summer program.
Must have a valid Colorado teaching certificate with a Special Education Generalist endorsement (or ability to obtain), and interest in Science. Previous related classroom experience highly preferred. All applicants must have (or ability to obtain) a valid Colorado Driver’s license.
