Denver Rescue Mission is seeking a Special Events Coordinator paying $15.40 – $16.75/hour. This position is responsible for coordinating all fundraising, program and community awareness events, managing smaller events, promoting events, and representing Denver Rescue Mission to the public, creating collateral material using the Adobe Creative Suite. We are looking for an energetic individual who is highly detail-oriented and able to work a flexible schedule including some weekends, weeknights and holidays, has excellent communication skills, is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office and possesses at least 1 year of experience in event planning and a Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field.
Denver Rescue Mission is a faith-based charitable non-profit organization that has provided services to the homeless and low-income population and has been committed to “changing lives in the name of Christ by meeting people at their physical and spiritual points of need, with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens” for 121 years.
